The Paradise Animal Hospital and Wellness Centre in Paradise, NL (suburbs of St. John’s) is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our progressive, busy, small animal practice. To help you help them, we offer 30 minute appointment times, file dictation and the support of 30 fabulous and knowledgeable support staff. We offer a walk-in service from 8 am to 10 am for urgent care or emergency appointments and rotate our doctors on the schedule to cover these walk-in appointments. As an RVT this provides daily opportunities to utilize your valuable technician skills. Our hospital offers the highest quality of medicine and compassion to our patient and customer care. We are equipped with a full IDEXX laboratory, digital radiography, and 2 dental suits both with dental radiography, Companion Therapy Laser CDX, ultrasound, Cornerstone management software and much more. Our personalized environment promotes a positive work life balance. We provide online training access to ACT Online and Fear Free. We strongly encourage our staff to continue lifelong learning in order to deliver state of the art medicine to our patients and that in turn will be passed to you in your learning experience.
