Job Functions: Administrative - Other, Customer service & support, Operations - Other, Service/Skilled - Warehouse - Description JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for Provides a high-level of customer and sales support within an assigned area of business. Receives and handles incoming requests via phone, fax, web form and email from medical customers for assistance with all facets of the order fulfillment process including order placement, product research, returns, credits, customer complaints, etc. Assist customers with resolving technical questions and provide instruction on web sitefunctionality. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 50% Receives and handles telephone calls, faxes, web forms and emails from medical customers requesting assistance with placing orders, product details, return of merchandise, order tracking and tracing, and other related issues. This sometimes involves evaluation, analysis, and issue solving to fulfill a customer request. 15% Consults with sales representatives and managers to receive authorization for customers to return certain products, including product recalls, issue call tags, override product pricing and review restrictions on product shortages. 15% Maintains up-to-date customer records in accordance to workplace standards, and attends and participates in sales meetings, and training programs, as required. 15% Works with internal groups to assist customers in ordering items not yet made available on the eSurg web siteor the company does not typically sell (new / non-stocking items) and must purchase directly from the vendor, or regarding post-order inquiries, such as requesting shelf checks to ensure product availability. 2.5% Informs customers of promotional or seasonal items such as influenza vaccine and assist with taking customer pre-orders. 2.5% Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required. SKILL: Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Apply acquired knowledge of procedures and external regulations. COMPLEXITY: Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. SUPERVISION: Work under minimal supervision and receive little instruction on daily work, receive general instruction on newly introduced assignments. Requirements WORK BACKGROUND: Typically one or more years of related experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically High-school education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Basic product knowledge. Good telephone etiquette, expertise to answer a high volume of calls and email. Comfortable learning and maneuvering through multiple tools and applications. Excellent organizational and time organizational skills. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical requirements required.
