A Urgent Care Physician practice is seeking a qualified physician for Boston, MA. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. Locum Family Practitioner needed for Boston UC * Three clinic locations around the city ---Schedule: 365 days a year ---Shifts: 9a-9p ---Ave # of Patients/shift?: Varies by location (between 26-40) ---Support staff: Yes, medical assistants, rad-techs, and on some shifts a physician assistant for an extra set of helping hands. ---BC/BE: BC or true BE (must have scheduled boards) ---Procedures: Reading X-rays, Interpreting EKGs, Taking vital signs , Performing suturing, Performing stapling, Performing Dermabond closure, Performing incision and drainage, Performing toenail Removal, Performing splinting, Typing progress notes, Utilizing EMR, Performing BLS, Utilizing AED ---Type of Charting: EMR ---E-Clinical--- or Tech Savy ---Provider must have VERY recent experience working with ages 1 and older. Prefers UC experience and no new grads ---ALL providers must attend 2 paid training shifts between November 17-19 ---How long does credentialing take: A week to two weeks ---Reason for need: new facilities
