Grow yourself and grow the company! Probate Advance is seeking an Underwriter/Diligence Specialist to support our exceptional team and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical problem solver, looking to advance his or her career while working in a rewarding and team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for analyzing inheritance funding requests in order to determine whether a case merits approval to fund. This position will be worked out of our Rye Brook, NY offices. Position Responsibilities Perform all required due diligence analysis to support funding decisions including the review and analysis of probate, real estate and financial documentation Conduct thorough analysis to determine merits and risks of each individual case Take a collaborative approach, working with internal partners to efficiently evaluate cases and drive fundings Interact with clients and attorneys as needed during the case evaluation process Make recommendations on case approvals and denials Document details supporting decisions through thorough and accurate records of all case materials Assist with portfolio management and other ad hoc projects as needed Learn the probate process and work to innovate and improve how we operate Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 3+ years Financial Analysis, Underwriting or Paralegal background required, or comparable work experience Strong analytical/reasoning skills, good judgment, and experience working with legal documents required Probate-related experience strongly preferred Previous underwriting or portfolio management experience a plus Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively Why Should You Apply: Excellent growth and advancement opportunities Fun and fast paced work environment Base play plus lucrative bonus potential Excellent benefits You want to join a high-energy team with a strong desire to win Benefits: Probate Advance offers competitive compensation, and benefits that include medical, pharmacy, dental, vision and life insurance plans, plus 401(k) with company match and paid time off.
