Trim Supervisor

Job Description: The Trim Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the trimming team, ensuring efficient processing, quality control, and compliance with company standards. This role is responsible for managing personnel, maintaining productivity targets, and ensuring the highest quality of trimmed cannabis for packaging and distribution. Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee a team of trimmers, providing daily supervision and guidance. Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient and consistent productivity. Train new and existing team members on trimming techniques, safety protocols, and company standards. Inspect trimmed products to ensure it meets quality standards, including appearance, consistency, and moisture content. Implement and maintain quality assurance checks to reduce waste and enhance product yield. Monitor trimming equipment and tools, ensuring they are well-maintained and operational. Identify areas for improvement in trimming processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency. Track and report production metrics, such as yield per plant, time per trim, and product loss. Ensure adherence to local and state cannabis regulations, as well as company policies. Enforce compliance with health and safety standards in the trimming area. Maintain accurate records for compliance and auditing purposes. Required Skills & Abilities: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cannabis processing or cultivation role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position. Previous experience with cannabis trimming processes. Strong understanding of cannabis strains, quality standards, and trimming techniques. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet production goals. Proficiency in record-keeping and attention to detail. Industry & Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods. Manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in a cultivation or processing facility environment, which may include exposure to plant materials, pollen, and agricultural chemicals.
