Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 10 Years, Job Overview A reputable law firm specializing in Lemon Law and consumer protection litigation is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join its Roseville office. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of litigation experience, including substantial trial experience as first chair. This role requires a seasoned attorney who is dedicated to consumer advocacy and able to manage high-stakes litigation effectively. The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead trial efforts, work collaboratively on trial strategy, and make a significant impact in consumer protection cases.LocationRoseville, CADutiesLead the development of trial strategy and take on first chair responsibilities in trials.Conduct and oversee complex legal research to support litigation efforts.Interface directly with specialized outside counsel on behalf of clients.Draft and file legal documents, including moving papers and oppositions involving novel and complex legal issues.Represent clients at hearings for motions and oppositions.Conduct depositions of key witnesses, including executives, technical experts, and other relevant parties.Collaborate with colleagues to implement and improve firm policies and client communication processes.Ensure timely resolution of any arising legal issues.RequirementsMinimum 10 years of litigation and trial experience.Proven record of successful jury verdicts and bench trials as first chair.Strong experience in Arbitration, Coordinated Proceedings, and Multi-District Litigation preferred.Excellent communication and client-facing skills.Proficient in MS Office, timekeeping software, and client file management systems.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Leadership abilities and experience managing legal teams.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.EducationJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.CertificationsLicensed attorney, member of the California Bar in good standing.SkillsStrong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative mindset and ability to mentor junior attorneys.Expertise in consumer protection litigation is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive compensation package.HMO/PPO Medical Plans.PPO Dental and Vision Insurance.Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) plans.Basic Life Insurance.401(k) plan with contributions up to 10%.529 Plan.Pet Insurance.Comprehensive training provided by senior attorneys and partners.Weekly breakfast provided for staff.Hybrid work schedule with flexibility for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
