Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Experience: Minimum Board Certification Eligible License: Not specified Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic/Beacon experience is a plus Job Description: - Work shifts are Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, five days a week. - On-call duty overnight for clinic patients only. - No procedures or bone marrow transplants required. - Role involves 60% oncology and 40% hematology. - Average daily patient census is 5. - Hospitalist coverage available for first-call issues. - Majority of cases are solid tumors; no leukemia, with possible lymphoma. - Collaborate with well-rounded staff, including medical assistants and registered nurses. - Manage approximately 15 patient encounters per shift. - Facility is a Level 2 trauma center. - Estimated credentialing timeframe is between 60-90 days; a clean history may qualify for expedited privileges.For more details: https://jobs-search.org/administration/travelling-physician-washington-dc_i2455863706
