Certification Details ACLS, BLS, PALS, CNOR, EFM, Tech Cert, State License, IV Certification, MAB, NIH, Various Additional Certifications Job Details M-F 8:30am-5pm 2 year of pathology assistant experience Accepts first time travelers Specimen Grossing Job Requirements 2 year of pathology assistant experience ACLS required for certain RNs BLS required for all RNs, OR Techs, Surg Techs, Patient Transporters, Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists except for certain roles PALS required for RNs working in specified units NRP potentially required for RRTs depending on campus CNOR required for OR RNs EFM AWHONN required for RNs working L&D every 2 years Tech Cert Verification - National required for certain positions State License 1 Verification - specific to the role IV Certification required for certain roles Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) potentially required NIH Stroke Certification necessary for specific units Various additional certifications preferred but not mandatory Schedule Information M-F 8:30am-5pm Unit Specific Information Laboratory specialty training Additional Details Modules for Travel - UCSD specific UCSD - Non-Clinical Modules UCSD - Orientation Modules Registry Only UCSD - Basic Tele Assessment (Monitor Techs only) UCSD - Restraint Training (QM USE) UCSD - Certified Child Life Specialist Skills & Competency Attestation UCSD - Non-Clinical Traveler Confirmation (time sensitive!)
