**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Oncology - Pediatric **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 2 years of pediatric oncology **License:** Must have CA RN license **Certifications:** BCLS, PALS, APHON - chemo certification **Must-Have:** - 2 years of pediatric oncology experience - CA RN license - BCLS, PALS, APHON - chemo certification - Ability to work every other weekend - Capability to float to any area as required **Job Description:** - Seeking an experienced Hem/Onc RN with at least 2 years in pediatric oncology. - Must be available for holiday coverage. - Accepts applicants for second-time positions but not first-timers. - Requires self-scheduling with pre-approved time off at the manager's discretion. - Engage with a high acuity unit offering a supportive team including NPs, CNS, Research Nurse Educator, Clinical Educator, Resource Nurse, and Patient Family Educator. - Rarely perform invasive procedures on unit. - Utilize Cerner documentation system. - Be part of a team in a high-stakes environment, providing care and support to pediatric patients. - Must have a COVID-19 vaccine; medical/religious exemptions will be considered. - Orientation includes up to 8 hours of billable modules, completed during the orientation period. - Specific floating and weekend requirements are to be adhered to.
