Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/21/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 225 bed specialty care hospital • Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, Pediatrics • Region's premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services Marquette • Located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula • Largest community in the peninsula • Home to Northern Michigan University Comments candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel Unit Profile Facility Name: UP Health system-Marquette Floor: 6th Trauma Level: 2 Position Information: • Facility Department/Cost Center: Acute Medical/Surgical • Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN • Specialty: Medical/Surgical • Number of Openings: • Shift: 7p - 7a • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: Rotating • Call Requirements: • Required Certifications: ACLS • Years of Experience : 2 • Float Requirements: Occasional to like unit • Additional Notes: Unit Information: • Number of Beds: • Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1 • Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps • EHR: Cerner • Manager: Linda Bergren • Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc.: Adult and geriatric, 18 - 125 Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
