Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,213 per week

Description:
Job Details This position requires basic medical/surgical knowledge to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients. Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice. Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc. Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care. Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner. Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications. Job Requirements 1+ Year of Med Surg Experience - Required BLS & ACLS (AHA) - Required Schedule Information Cannot accept local candidates that live within 50 miles of the facility. Additional Details Profile Requirements: Work History Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to specialty 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction) Dress Code: Navy Blue EMR: Epic
