Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Clare, Michigan.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: TravelPreparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.Submission Requirements2+ years of experience ---RequiredMed/Surg Observation experience - RequiredGeneral Med/Surg (Oncology, Obs, Hospice, Medical & Surgical PatientsRecent traveler experience ---highly preferred--Profile Requirements:Work HistorySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two yearsLicensure & Certifications (MI State License/Lara & BLS - AHA)Candidates' Permanent Address--(Facility will not consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction)Certification RequirementsBLS (AHA)State License RequirementsMichiganAbout the FacilityWe are a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) office, which means we are the home base for your medical care and will coordinate appointments with specialists when needed.
