Certification Details Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required Job Details The RN and LPN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Units include several specialized areas, such as working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents, providing short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services, and offering long-term care in a home-like environment. Job Requirements Associates in Nursing required Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required 1-3 years previous RN experience Medical terminology preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills required The ability to work well within a team of other care providers Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week Flexibility to float to other units as needed An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for education and experience requirements Schedule Information Flexibility required for coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days per week Flexibility to float to other units as needed Unit Specific Information Unit details for 3 East, Transitional Rehabilitation Unit, and 3 West reflecting specialized care, short-term rehabilitation services, and long-term placement respectively Additional Details Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius
