Certification Details Certifications Required: Fetal Monitor Certification Hospital Specifics- Certifications: Burn Certified/ Trauma Certified Job Details MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOSPITAL SETTING MUST HAVE ACTIVE VA LICENSE AT SUBMISSION BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN REQUIRED Job Requirements Requested Skill Set: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds Schedule Information Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend Schedule Guideline- see attached (Sensitive information removed) Unit Specific Information Unit Name: LDRP Number of Beds: 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR Patient Ratios: 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs Type of equipment: Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding The unit is a small close-knit family-oriented unit. The nurses promote a team work atmosphere. Self-scheduling platform. Additional Details Dress Code: Navy Uniforms Awards/Recognition: Unit Based Council, Daisy Award
