Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,328 per week

Certification Details ACLS, BLS, NRP required. Intermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring required. Job Details Regional hospital in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona has a need for a L&D Travel Nurse. Three 12-hour night shifts per week with guaranteed hours and no cancellations. With a plethora of outdoor activities and only a couple of hours to Flagstaff and Phoenix, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the best of Arizona! Job Requirements Candidates should have ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, at least 3 years of experience, and an active AZ or compact license to apply. ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring Required. 2 years of experience required. Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress. Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia. Clinical background in high risk patients. Since there is NOT an in-house OB, so the nurses need to be very proficient with their assessment skills and be able to handle OB emergencies until the provider arrives. May float to other units of hospital (usually MedSurg) if needed. Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care. Schedule Information Start date: ASAP Orientation: Every Monday Shift & Scheduling: - Nights 6p-6a Days 6a-6p Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum. Floating Requirement: - May float to ED or MS if experienced Call: one shift per 4 week schedule Unit Specific Information Respiratory Therapist in unit 24/7 Support staff on unit: Patient Care Technician, Health Unit Secretary Nurse manager occasionally see patients (when needed) 2 years of experience required 3+ years of experience required C-section experience required Support staff on unit: OB scrub tech, HUC OB/Neonatologist not in house 24/7 pharmacy in house Additional Details ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NIHSS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
