Certification Details BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN REQUIRED Certifications Required: Fetal Monitor Certification Job Details TRAVEL RN LD 13 WEEKS MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOSPITAL SETTING MUST HAVE ACTIVE VA LICENSE AT SUBMISSION Job Requirements Requested Skill Set: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultrasounds Schedule Information Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend Schedule Guideline: see attached (details not provided to protect sensitive info) Unit Specific Information Unit Name: LDRP Number of Beds : 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR Patient Ratios : 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets Unit staffing description: Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs Type of equipment : Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP Awards/Recognition: Unit Based Council, Daisy Award Additional Details Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding Dress Code: Navy Uniforms Unit Based Council, Daisy Award Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment The unit is a small close knit family oriented unit.
