Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,678 per week

Certification Details BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certifications required. Job Details A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for a Night ICU RN. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 1 years of unit experience w/ Cardiac ICU experience as well. This unit focuses on bedside shift report, intentional hourly rounding. The right candidate does not have to be competent in all areas of ICU but needs to be ready and willing to ask questions, seek out resources, and be open to learning new things. The community is culturally diverse and encompasses nationalities that do not speak English including both Hispanics and Sudanese. The idea employee will be able to embrace these difference and provide the highest quality of care while ensuring an excellent patient experience to everyone seeking our services. Job Requirements 1 years of Cardiac ICU experience. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must be able to critically think through complex situations. Candidates must be open to learning new things. Schedule Information Night shifts. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. Shifts: 0630-1900, 1830-0700. Unit schedulers will make schedule. Every other weekend required. Holiday requirements: As needed. Unit Specific Information # of Beds: 16 Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2 with occasional 1:1 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Young adults through geriatrics, sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, neurosurgery, renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD, cancer, DKA. Charge Nurse presence on each shift with aid/patient care techs ratios and duties specified. RNs required to titrate drips and expected to read and interpret tele/monitor their own strips. Orientation: 2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation required. Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN: Navy Blue. Additional Details Fast paced, have an eICU remote monitoring system. Looking for highly motivated nurses. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
