Certification Details RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE BLS and PALS required Willing to get flu shot Job Details Registered Nurse specialty Travel/Contract employment type 13-week contracts Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU, and ED Unit Summary: 30-37 beds post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice Patients can range from neonatal up to 23 years old Job Requirements MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained Heart transplant experience Willing to float between units BLS and PALS required Schedule Information 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule Requested Time Off: 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in a week) Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays (contract can't end before New Years) Unit Specific Information Could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED Unit includes PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit Additional Details DON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Children's facility Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
