Certification Details Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - REQUIRED Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain - REQUIRED Job Details Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgment and initiative as well as a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety. Job Requirements 5 years experience in a hospital setting as a MRI technologist - REQUIRED Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - REQUIRED Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain - REQUIRED Toshiba and Cerner experience - Preferred Travel experience - Preferred Resume Skills checklist specific to the discipline (within the last year) 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment Unit Specific Information The Department of Radiology at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital offers services 24/7 to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients of all ages. The department provides a range of services including diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density and mammography. Radiology comprises of licensed technologists, certified and licensed nuclear medicine technologists, secretarial staff, and licensed radiologists.
