Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: TravelJob Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing--is hiring a Travel - MRI Tech Shift: Days / 6a-2:30p, 8x5, 10 hrs per week, M-F, no weekends Length: 13 weeks-- Requirements: 1 year experience Must have Siemens experience Requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.-- ARRT (R) (MRI) certified or ARMIT with current registration required AHA BLS Prefer magnetic resonance training program experience with clinical internship or one year of clinical imaging experienceOthers: Requires extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathologic processes with emphasis on neurologic, orthopedic, and cardiac physiology. Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as related to the position, as well as aseptic and sterile techniques Requires knowledge of the physics involved to perform magnetic resonance imaging exams, as well as the use of all equipment necessary to obtain and document a complete examination. Effective communication skills to interact with patients, physicians and other personnel. Skills:--High levels of analytical skills and critical thinking skills are required to perform appropriate--scans based on the patients' history and protocol. Work requires a high level of interpersonal skills for instructing and orientating patients, physicians, medical staff, and students.
