Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Washington, District of Columbia.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/18/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: TravelJob Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel - Mammography Tech Shift: Days, 8:30a-5p, 8x5, 40hrs per week Length: 13 weeks Requirements: 1 Year Experience BLS Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school 2 years of experience in Mammography preferred Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred Prior quality control experience preferredWill accept less than 2 years experience and 1st time travelersOther Details:The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
