Certification Details REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Licensed in the state of Virginia as a surgical assistant (not to be confused with surgical technician - which is a different skill overall and belongs in 70543) Job Details CST/ORT position available in Virginia. Job Requirements Must hold a LICENSE to practice as surgical assistants in VA. Skill Set Most recruited for: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Schedule Information Day Shift - Certified Surgical Assistant ONLY. Night Shift - Certified Surgical Assistant ONLY; covered with call. Unit is covered by call for after hours and weekends. Call coverage is dependent upon the amount of staff available to take for specific position. Unit Specific Information Type of staff: Certified Surgical Assistant ONLY for Day and Night Shift. Patient Ratios - N/A. Unit Guidelines/Policies: [Attached Documents] Additional Details Unit Information: First Assist Dress Code: Hospital laundered scrubs provided List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Orthopedics, Spine and general (bariatric) Best personality Fit: Quick learner, self-starter, easy going
