Certification Details ARRT Certification in Radiology IEMA BLS Job Details Type of Resource Requested: Cath Lab Tech Position Title: Special Procedures Technologist On-call: Yes, 1 weekday/week; 1 weekend out of every 4 weekends Follows department rotation and standards Shift Start Time: 0700 Role Specific Responsibilities Performs diagnostic radiographic exams Utilizes PACS and EMR systems Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection Performs office duties as needed Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process Cleans and inspects departmental equipment Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms Job Requirements EP experience preferred; coronary and peripheral case experience such as CTO, carotid stenting, AAA, and complex peripheral intervention Structural experience preferred Education: Associate degree Experience and Skills: Technical experience 3 years Schedule Information On-call requirements Hours Per Shift: 10 Shift Start Time: 0700
