CommQuest seeks a part-time Trauma Therapist & Outreach Coordinator supporting the Alliance office and community; providing specialized therapeutic services and strategic outreach to individuals, focusing on recovery, resilience principles, and trauma-informed care. The role involves empowering individuals who have experienced severe mental illness, trauma, and sexual violence, ensuring they integrate and succeed in their natural environments. The Outreach Coordinator aspect of the role works to strengthen community knowledge of sexual violence programs and provides essential services, including counseling, advocacy, and education. CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance. What you gain: Relationships within the organization and the community Visibility into how our community supports those in need Opportunities to share your expertise Peace of mind knowing you are benefiting the clients we serve and the community at large What you'll do: Provide trauma-focused interventions, symptom monitoring, and crisis management. Provide strategic outreach to sexual assault survivors and their loved ones in the community. Perform accurate and timely documentation of trauma-focused interventions according to agency standards. Work collaboratively with other professionals, departments, agencies, client collaterals, and community entities. Promptly report and document any critical or unusual incidents, especially those related to trauma concerns. Other duties as assigned Schedule: Part-time. 8 - 10 hours per week. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Service required. Active LPC or LSW license issued by the State of Ohio required. LPCC or LISW preferred. Previous experience working with adults with severe mental illness, trauma, and sexual assault survivors. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other providers in the agency and community. Must be trained in trauma therapy and Sexual Violence Advocacy within 30 days of hire. Maintain current certification in CPR/First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training with a trauma-competent approach. Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, or similar applications required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Availability for rotating on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Full-Time Benefits: Generous time off, including Mental Health days 10 paid holidays annually Retirement plan with company match Medical, Dental, and Vision plans CEU/Licensure reimbursements and Additional Workshops/Trainings: Up to 16 hours of paid work release annually for workshops, with $200 in funds for CEUs (24 hours and $250 for employees maintaining two licenses). Licensure fee coverage up to $320 annually for one license. Flexible work scheduling with supervisor approval to make up time during workshop weeks. Workshops/Trainings: EMDR, DBT, CDCA, & More !
