Opportunity Specifics: Contract Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Trauma Surgery First Assist Start Date: January 2025 - ongoing Schedule: Flexible Scheduling – Day Shifts Minimum Shifts: 14 Shifts per Month Compensation: $125/hr plus expenses (Weekly Pay!) Support: AAA Malpractice Coverage, Dedicated Credentialing Assistance, Travel & Lodging Core Responsibilities: Provide surgical assist in trauma surgery, including: arterial line placement, endotracheal intubation, central line insertion, chest tube placement, basic fracture and dislocation reduction and resuscitation. Admit, discharge, and manage the daily care of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients in collaboration with the attending physician. Trauma Service line coverage is the priority with Acute Care Surgery as secondary role Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and efficient patient record-keeping Candidate Requirements: License: Current Missouri State License with Unrestricted DEA Boards: Certified Nurse Practitioner Experience: Recent/Ongoing Surgical First Assist Experience (Trauma/Acute Settings) Previous ICU, OR and Procedural Proficiency Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS Think you might be a fit?
