This non-litigation position involves providing employment support in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising diverse employers on managing employment relationships effectively. The role demands high standards of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.Location:San Diego, CADuties:Provide employment advice and counsel during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Advise employers across industries on compliance, employee relations, and various aspects of employment relationships.Collaborate with corporate teams to address employment concerns in transactional contexts.Safeguard sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information related to client matters and internal processes.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of broad-based employment counseling experience, ideally with a focus on transactional employment matters.Proficiency in employment laws and regulations relevant to corporate transactions and employer compliance.Strong ability to offer strategic advice on complex employment issues in a corporate setting.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar membership in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility for timely admission in alignment with the office location.Skills:Expertise in employment law with an emphasis on non-litigation counseling and corporate transactions.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to guide clients on employment-related issues.Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.
