Transaction Closing Coordinator

We’re looking for a driven transaction coordinator to manage contracts throughout the entire home selling and buying process. You’d be responsible for overseeing transactions from start to finish to ensure offers and counteroffers are approved for a smooth and successful sale. Responsibilities: • Schedule moving times and attending all closing-related meetings• Oversee all administrative tasks regarding home buyer and seller transactions from executed purchase agreement to close• Help agents, customers, and other parties with all escrow paperwork, including appraisals, titles, and mortgage loans• Coordinate home inspections negotiate prices for necessary repairs, and make sure each repair is completed• Acquire seller approval for offers and counteroffers from buyers to complete the process in a timely manner• Maintain communication with all parties involved, effectively. This includes but is not limited to Sellers, Buyers, Attorneys, Title Companies, Tenants, Villages, Lenders, etc. • Clear Property titles in preparation for sale by reaching out to lien holders and retrieving payoffs or requesting settlement amounts. This does include negotiating lien amounts to increase profitability. • Review and amend HUD-1 Settlement Statements and other closing documents as required for accuracy and completeness.• Schedule and coordinate real estate closings with all parties involved.• Coordinate with lenders to ensure that all lending requirements are met prior to closing.• Fulfill Municipality requirements as per the City/ Village for Closings.• Provide real time updates to all internal team members about where the property is in the closing process.• Diligently organizing all files and supporting documents for all real estate transactions both on and offline. Qualifications: • Applicants must possess exceptional organizational and verbal and written skills• Real estate license preferred • Driven by a desire to provide excellent customer service and a great customer experience • Experience in the real estate industry, transaction management or coordination, titles, and/or mortgages preferred• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred • At least 1 year of experience in the title industry (preferred, not required).• Strong knowledge of title company functions, lien searches, and real estate closing processes.• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing closing documents.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
