Rates for Traffic Control Technician are starting at $18.50 and $19.50-23.00 for Supervisors depending on experience. We are looking for hard-working, dependable, safety-oriented team players with positive attitudes to join growing our team and help us to build and maintain client relationships through their on-site traffic control needs. Come join us and start your new CAREER in traffic control. Responsibilities: Setup temporary workplaces for construction/maintenance and utility. Safely guide the passage of the general public through and around the temporary workplace as well as the safety of all workers on-site. Ensure safety and efficiency issues are addressed and remedied immediately in the temporary workplace. Maintain open and professional communication with co-workers. Report unsafe work situations to management. MINIMUM of 40 hours per week. Overtime as required. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience: A driver license with a clean driving abstract is required Must hold a Traffic Control Supervisor or Technician Certification Protect and promote the interest of Southwest Safety and take actions to satisfy such responsibilities. Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
