Job Summary: The Tool Room Injection Mold Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of injection mold tools to ensure efficient production and high-quality outputs. This role involves working closely with the production team, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mold issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain the integrity and performance of molds. Key Responsibilities: * Mold Maintenance and Repair + Conduct preventive maintenance on injection molds, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal performance. + Perform troubleshooting and repair of mold components, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly as needed. + Inspect molds to identify wear, cracks, or other damages, and recommend or implement corrective measures. Education and Experience * Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge and Skills * Demonstrates ability to operate machines, hand-tools and electrical equipment. * Possesses an operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills. * Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and work well in a team. * Minimum 5 years' experience as an injection mold maker or mold repair technician. * Must be proficient using measuring instruments. * Must have own tools. * Knowledge of hot runner systems, core pull and hydraulics. * Performs other duties as assigned. #LI-AM2 40 EEO Statement: https://www.greif.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/HR-101-Equal-Employment-Opportunity-Policy-English.pdf We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits and opportunity for growth.
