Direct Hire PositionHours: 3:30p to 12a, M-F (overtime available)Scope of job: Lays out, machines, fits, assembles, and finishes detail components and parts to make, maintain and trouble shoot single-hit, progressive, transfer, and spinning dies--analyzing specifications and applying knowledge of die design and construction. Assists in or directs final development for Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) of piece partsCapabilities:Ability to interpret concepts and draw inferencesAttentiveness to detailArtistic ability to ascertain balance and proportion of produced piece/partCommunication skills:Creative skillsMath aptitudeMechanical aptitudeSpatial abilityTroubleshooting abilityUnderstanding of sequencing processesVisualization of completed piece/part from specifications and blueprintsRange: From designing, developing, creating, and modifying prototypes to repairing diesEducation: High school or equivalentBlueprint reading:Knowledge of tool room equipmentMachining (ID-OD grinding to close tolerances)Manufacturing environment:Shop math (geometry, algebra, and trigonometry)Desirable:Computer DraftingEngineering problem solvingWage: $1.50 shift differential REM3
