The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. ("SEL") seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Test Engineer position located at our Lewiston, Idaho field office. If you are looking for an opportunity to work with industry experts while participating in developing cutting edge products, then this may be the position for you!Test Engineer (Multiple Openings)Responsibilities:The Test Engineer will engage in test development processes. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and electronics engineering and computer science to (1) establish project development plans, monitor the status and progress of test and other project deliverables, and provide timely metrics on project status; (2) review and approve test plans, station designs, and validation documentation; (3) design, develop, and maintain test strategies for new and existing SEL products; (4) evaluate new test technologies and methods; (5) determine Design for Test (DFT) specifications and coordinate with the company's engineering staff on new product design; (6) gather and analyze test data to improve test coverage, process efficiencies, and perform software verification; (7) ensure clear and efficient communications between test development team and customers; (8) understand hardware and software interactions and collaborate with Hardware Engineers; and (9) continuously identify, measure, and improve company engineering processes.To Apply:We ask all candidates to apply through our website at www.selinc.com/careersAn Award Winning CompanyThe Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
