We operate full-day early learning and childcare centres for infant, toddler and preschool children, as well as extended-day programs before and after school for kindergarten and school age children in over 30 locations throughout the Greater Hamilton Area. We are looking for an After School Early Childhood Educator to compliment our team! Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the After School Early Childhood Educator will develop and implement a variety of activities, designed to stimulate all areas of development, and based on the observed interests of children. After school programs begin as soon as school is dismissed in the afternoon, which is typically around 3:00pm. Parents are required to pick up their children by 6:00 pm This position will be at our Lawfield centre and working 16.75 hours per week. Why work for Us? To be considered for this role, the right candidate will have the following qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children OR Related experience in a childcare setting, working with school age children Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Education We may consider those with the following Diploma: Child & Youth.
