Key Responsibilities of a Teller: Customer Engagement: Warmly welcome credit members and address their questions, concerns, and account-related issues. Cash Management: Ensure accurate cash drawer operations, maintaining detailed documentation for all transactions and balancing your drawer daily. Transaction Processing: Efficiently handle a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Record Management: Maintain precise and accurate records of all transactions and member interactions. Issue Resolution: Professionally address any customer issues or discrepancies. Technical Proficiency: Utilize banking software and systems to execute transactions and manage accounts effectively. Qualifications: Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience: No prior financial service experience needed; customer service experience is a plus. Skills: Basic math and computer skills are essential. Preferred Background: Cash handling experience is beneficial but not mandatory. We offer competitive pay starting at $15/hour or more, clear advancement opportunities within six months, and educational support through our tuition reimbursement program. Work Schedule: Lobby hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with Friday hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
