Technology SpecialistJob Type: 6-Month Contract to HireWork Location: St Paul, MN (mostly on-site)Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 with benefits Job Overview:We are looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. In this role, you'll play a key part in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our technology systems and solutions, ensuring seamless operations across the organization. You'll collaborate with various departments to align technology initiatives with business objectives, driving both efficiency and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and fast resolutions. System Implementation: Lead the installation and configuration of new technology systems and applications, ensuring smooth integration with existing processes and minimal disruption. User Training: Design and conduct training sessions to empower staff with the knowledge and skills to use new technologies effectively, improving overall productivity. Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all technology systems, procedures, and user manuals to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyze system performance, identifying bottlenecks and recommending upgrades or optimizations to enhance efficiency. Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors to manage contracts, ensuring timely updates, compliance with industry standards, and seamless service delivery. Innovation & Research: Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and trends, proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and operations. Qualifications: 1+ year of proven experience in a technology support or specialist role, with a solid understanding of hardware, software, and networking. Strong problem-solving skills, with demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues across multiple platforms. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and effectively. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a small company environment.
