Posting End Date: Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY: Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing improvement projects, and/or provide diagnostic subject matter expertise to enhance the overall reliability, efficiency, and safety of the plant. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct root cause analysis and prepare reports for management use Provide primary or backup technical support for various plant system and processes Utilize experience, knowledge, and online monitoring systems and tools to analyze, trend, and monitor plant equipment performance data in an effort to improve plant operation Provide technical support to maintenance, outage, and capital projects Technical Lead on specific / complex projects Support equipment problem solving, condition assessments, and represent Entergy during OEM discussions or shop repairs. May engage in the review of diagnostic services (vibration analysis, off-line motor testing, Infra-red, performance testing, vacuum leak-detection, etc.) done by a 3rd party. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position: High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience Desired: Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or B.S. Degree in Science in a technical field Minimum experience required of the position: Tech Support Specialist Sr: 6+ years of power plant or relevant technical experience is preferred.
