Position Description: The role of the Technical Consultant is to be a leader in the therapeutic areas that are aligned to the Elanco species business strategy and to manage the successful implementation of support activities and initiatives in order to maximize current and future potential of Elanco products and services. This will involve: Internal close liaison with sales and marketing to ensure activities are aligned with strategy. Contact with international Elanco colleagues to maintain and develop technical strategy. Externally to build a relationship with key customers, opinion leaders and influencers so that Elanco is perceived as a technical partner of choice. The Technical Consultant is seen as a key part of the species team and is expected to work with the species leadership team to determine the appropriate strategy for both current and future products.
