CPA seeking a Tax Sr. Manager / Director specializing in Professional Services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement tax strategies tailored to the unique needs and objectives of professional services firms, including law firms, PR & media, and other service providers. Oversee tax compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements, including federal, state, and local tax filings. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations impacting professional services firms. Lead business development initiatives to expand the firm's client base within the professional services sector. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers to drive revenue growth. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness to client needs, and delivery of high-quality tax services. Qualifications: Experience: CPA 12+ years of experience in tax Focus on professional services firms, Laws firm, PR firms or Architecture firms Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly as they apply to professional services firms. Experience leading and managing a team of tax professionals, including providing coaching and feedback. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues. Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
