Tax AnalystBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Tax Analyst for an opportunity in Newark, DE 19713Position Title: Tax Analyst Location: Newark, DE 19713Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 9 month contract subject to extension for 3 more monthsHybrid: 3 days in the office (flexible on selection of weekdays) - in Tax Season (Jan- April) 100% office attendance mandatory work schedule : regular 9-5, in tax season most probably extended to 10 hoursPay Rate : $35 to $37.24 /hr on W2.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Responsibilities: * understanding tax withholding and reporting tax analysis and research ability to perform tax reconciliations * project management/analytic experience communication with senior management adhere to procedures, controls and deadlines * education - preferred college degree, bachelor in financial * experience - holistic understanding of tax and withholding * Ensure consistency in information reporting practices within accounting systems * Prepare and maintain procedure documentation. * Mapping process flow for transaction information and recipient information for CIB clients. * Prepare communication on status of tax document preparation, progress, accuracy, and correction, and present to Management. * Maintain metrics on account filings and corrections. * Research, communicate, and resolve questions for key stakeholder(s). * Perform preliminary checks on tax reporting information, before Tax Season and Print Day validations. * Assist in overall needs of the team and provide support in areas of specialty as well as during peak periods.Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
