As a Co-op stude nt working in the Canadian Country Tax Centre , you will have the opportunity to work with busine ss partners across all Canadian J&J operating companies as it pertains to different aspects of income tax , sales tax and withholding tax. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Assi st with the preparation of corporate income , sales tax and withholding tax r eturns. Analyze tax balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations. Make system changes in respect of different sales tax initiatives, such as tax code change , new product introduction , etc. Prepar e and maintain document ation in respect of quarter-end and/or month-end close as required. Assist with collection of accounting records and preparation of analysis required to respond to audit requests. Document activities of this role to ensure a smooth transition to the following Co-op and reduce cycle time necessary to become effective in this role. Other add -hoc requests for reporting and analysis upon management request. In final two years of a Bachelor degree in a co-op program. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
