Employbridge is currently recruiting for an Accountant in the Anaheim CA area. This role will be responsible for managing tax related accounting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage and execute tax related accounting functions related to compliance and regulatory standards * Ensure compliance on required state specific tax documentation with all state regulations and timely submissions of tax documents * Research and maintain up to date on tax law changes, identifying potential risks or impact to company * Prepare and review various tax filings including federal, state and local * Perform tax analysis to ensure compliance with applicable regulations * Assist and provide data in preparation of financial statements * Conduct month end and year end closing processes within appropriate deadlines * Provide leadership with tax-related matters to optimize financial outcomes and reduce liabilities * Liaison with internal team and external auditors during tax audits and reviews * Maintain accurate and proper tax documentation and records QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Tax or related field * 4 plus years of experience in accounting with an emphasis in tax * CPA or related certification, a plus * Solid understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting and GAAP standards * Excellent in MS Office Products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and accounting software. SAP a plus * Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Hybrid role after probationary period * In accordance with California law, the expected salary for this California position is $75,000-$90,000 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education
