Position : Tax Accountant Location : Glendale, CA Type : On-site Company Size : 15 employees Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Tax Accountant with at least 2 years of public accounting experience, preferably from smaller firms. Newly promoted Senior Tax Accountants are also encouraged to apply. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to tax preparation, planning, and compliance in a collaborative, small-team environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file tax returns Assist in tax planning and compliance processes Collaborate closely with the team to ensure accuracy and timely submissions Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulatory changes Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience, preferably from smaller firms CPA or EA certification is preferred but not required Must be within a 1-hour commute of Glendale, CA Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 plus overtime 100% insurance coverage (family members at their own cost) Dental and vision insurance $50,000 life insurance policy 2 weeks PTO to start, plus sick leave 10-12 holidays per year 4% 401(k) match Additional Information: Please include details of the types of tax returns you are familiar with in your application.
