System Engineer We're looking for people who put people first. Start Date: ASAP Location: London, ON/WFH - Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Application Closing Date: Oct-13-2023 This is a hybrid position as you must be able to go onsite to our London office occasionally. Your current knowledge of technology is essential as you support our busy contact centre environment on a multitude of levels. You will ensure our servers and data centre hardware are consistently up and running as well as troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and functionality issues. You will quickly respond to helpdesk support requests, educating and coaching the helpdesk employee during the resolution of tickets. You will efficiently source, purchase and manage hardware and software system installations by working with clients and vendors to meet project deadlines. You will maintain and monitor all server backups in Canada in accordance with company standards, completing maintenance and patching in the scheduled window to ensure functionality and security. You will manage and maintain internal call recording systems, schedule adherence software, VMware and blade server environment, allocating resources as needed. You will design and suggest solutions for essential back-end systems, as well as divide and allocate mass shared storage amongst file services, departments and servers. You will assist Network and Telephony Engineers in troubleshooting issues and annually attend training to maintain your knowledge of upcoming technology.
