A health services system on Long Island is looking to add a licensed, experienced Physician to join their growing team as their new System Director of Stroke.About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Standard businessResponsibilities: The System Director of Stroke will: Earn the trust and confidence of the regional players and hospital leaders, administrators at each ambulatory location, physicians and staff throughout the health system Ensure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols, educational seminars, metrics, outcome measures and process improvement initiatives Develop interdisciplinary collaborations within the area to expand and enhance research programs, with an emphasis on expanding access to clinical trials Perform other duties, as neededQualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited College of Medicine Board Certified in Neurology and Cerebro-Vascular Disease Must be licensed as a physician in the State of New York Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 10 years of experience Strong administrative and academic skills Ability to build and lead a teamDesired Skills: Nationally recognized Stroke Expert and Researcher
