Situated in Franklin, WI, this privately owned health club delights in a steady stream of new members each day, thus demanding more instructors than our current team has available. We offer both group and private swimming lessons to help our clients become more adept in the water. Swim instructors play a crucial role in teaching individuals how to swim safely and confidently while promoting water safety and enjoyment. They create a positive learning environment that encourages skill development and fosters a love for swimming. If you adore swimming and assisting others to become self-assured in the pool, then this gig is for you! Responsibilities:• Develop and teach water safety and swimming techniques to a variety of ages and abilities• Establish a safe learning environment for all participants• Design lesson plans that adhere to the provided scheme of work• Diagnose any incorrect swimming techniques and suggest methods for improvement• Assess the progress of each individual and provide constructive feedback• Manage attendance, progress, and incident records; ensure swimming aids and equipment are maintained• Ensuring the safety of all participants during lessons by actively monitoring the pool area and enforcing safety rules. • Communicating with students and their guardians or parents regarding progress, goals, and any concerns. Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and confidence in the water. Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent• Current Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification Compensation: $20 hourly About Company: Innovative Health and Fitness is a privately owned health club in Franklin, WI.
