Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Lewiston, ID. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in surgical procedures, particularly in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that surgical operations are conducted smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use. Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining sterile conditions, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon. Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments before and after procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and provide critical support to the surgical team during complex procedures. Collaborate with the entire healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care in the operating room. Must-Haves: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist course. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required within 6 months of employment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong knowledge of the principles and procedures related to surgery. 2-3 years of acute care, hospital-based operating room experience, specifically in Ortho, Neuro, and General Surgery .
