AEDD is looking for a highly energetic, self-motivated individual for our Ward location to secure appropriate competitive employment in the community for developmentally disabled individuals.The Supportive Employment Supervisor works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Adult Clinical Services. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of public relations initiatives to attract potential businesses and retain existing accounts relative to securing appropriate competitive employment in the community for developmentally disabled individuals. This person will provide the necessary supervision, training, counseling, support, and assistance to ensure a successful career for the individuals served. The ideal candidate will be someone who is highly influential, self-motivated, punctual, energetic, assertive, and can be an advocate for our consumers while trying to get them into the workforce.Adequate personal transportation is necessary due to frequent travel.
