The Surgical Services Department at Montrose Regional Health is committed to provide quality surgical services and improve the quality of life for our patients. We provide surgeries 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We offer Board-Certified anesthesiologists and certified nurse anesthetists for surgeries and other procedures for our friends and family. About The Career: Organizes, coordinates, and expedites the daily management of cases through Sterile Processing (SPD). Assists with set-up and maintenance of the SPD/sterile storage departments. Demonstrate competent and skilled performance in the reprocessing of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Maintain necessary quality control monitoring systems to verify sterility is achieved. Participates in Multi-disciplinary team (including physicians) in coordination and provision of Quality Assurance. Assists in staff development and interdepartmental relations. Coordinates and directs work of the SPD. The Supervisor assesses, reassesses, and adjusts unit activities through-out the day along with the Nurse Manager to meet ongoing patient and unit needs. All About You : High school graduate or equivalent. Registered Central Sterilizing Technician (RSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Sterilizing Technician (CRSPDT). Extensive knowledge of cleaning and sterilization procedures and techniques.
