Stone Arch Law Office, PLLC is a busy estate planning law firm in Southwest Minneapolis. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced probate and estate planning paralegal to lead and manage the Legal Support Team as well as perform advanced paralegal functions. The Paralegal Supervisor position includes a significant amount of client contact requiring a candidate with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor. A primary component of this position requires the exercise of independent judgment and discretion with the authority to make decisions on matters that affect the legal operations of the team. We are a small (but growing) team and offer a family-oriented office environment with a competitive compensation and benefits program. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 plus bonuses and benefits. Resumes must be submitted via WizeHire and should showcase required experience in order to be considered. Responsibilities:Paralegal - 70%• Draft full wills and trusts from templates including custom language• File probate, guardianships, and contested matters• Provide customer service to include answering phones, greeting clients, and responding to client questions when appropriate Supervisory - 30%• Supervise the Legal Support Team by assigning projects, prioritizing and organizing tasks, and assisting with conflict resolution as needed• Managing team workload and assisting staff when necessary• Advise in making personnel decisions, including hiring/termination, salaries, promotions, and annual reviews, as they pertain to the Legal Support Team• Provide ongoing training and mentoring to Legal Support Team• Develop strategies and plans to meet team goals Qualifications:Experience/Education:• Bachelor's degree in finance, management, legal administration, or related field• Paralegal certificate• Minimum of five (5) years experience with drafting estate planning documents• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience, preferably at a law firm Qualifications:• Demonstrated experience and ability to effectively lead and supervise others• Proficiency in the use of a database or case management software and common office technology programs, with the ability to learn new software and operating systems• Extreme attention to detail• Excellent customer service skills• Ability to execute instructions and Firm policies• Ability to handle more complex issues/duties requiring independent exercise of discretion and judgment• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills• Must be available to work in the office Monday - Friday Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 yearly About Company: Stone Arch Law Office is an estate planning law firm located in Southwest Minneapolis.
