Location: Winston-Salem, NC Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 Benefits: 401 K with match Profit Sharing Merit Bonus Medical, Dental Vision Flexible Spending 9 Paid holidays STD and LTD Supplemental insurance Paid time (Starts at 15 days per years and increases with tenure) Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and eager Civil Designer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin their career in civil design and site planning. The role involves working closely with experienced engineers and project managers to produce high-quality civil designs for single-family & multi-family residential, commercial, healthcare, higher education, and industrial projects. What You Need for This Position: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply). Familiarity with the design and production of site construction drawings, including site layout, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management SCMs, and utility plans. Basic understanding or coursework in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for storm drainage, stormwater management, and water distribution systems (preferred). Critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn and solve design challenges. Ability to research and apply Municipal, County, and State zoning ordinances and design standards (with guidance and training). Strong desire to work in a team environment and adapt to company design and drawing standards. Proficiency in Auto CAD Civil 3 D and other relevant software (preferred, but not required). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to collaborate and learn. Why Join Us?
