Utility Supply & Construction Co (USC) is looking to hire a Storm Services Billing Specialist to join our growing team! Essential Job Functions: Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner. Review and verify billing information and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Maintain billing records and customer accounts in the billing system. Respond to customer and subcontractor inquiries regarding billing questions, discrepancies, and payment arrangements promptly and professionally. Record payments received, reconcile payment discrepancies, and manage accounts receivable aging. Initiate collection efforts for past-due accounts, including contacting clients, arranging payment plans, and escalating as necessary. Maintain up-to-date billing and financial records. Prepare and distribute billing reports to management. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years Accounting experience Excellent attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadline Process driven while being adaptable to various approaches Utility construction experience - preferred Additional Requirement: Most aspects of this hourly position can be conducted within a normal 8-hour workday Monday - Friday. However, Storm Services often operates outside normal working hours, which will require this individual to be accepting of a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends when needed.
